Kimberly Maxwell

Hello, my name is Kimberly and I am an accomplished quantitative and qualitative researcher specializing in sensory evaluation, consumer research, mock juries, and human factors. I have a passion for helping clients gain meaningful insights and actionable results through research.

My Story

I work with a full-service marketing and consumer research company whose primary focus is qualitative and quantitative research. I have over 25 years of quantitative testing experience. I am RIVA trained and have been doing qualitative research for 20+ years. Although I am a formally trained sensory scientist, my years of experience in marketing, business, and R&D sectors have given me a well-rounded background to apply to all my projects.

I am a dynamic and results-driven moderator who strives to utilize techniques that best fit a study to achieve objectives within my client’s budget and timeline. My years of experience using both individual and team efforts in various sectors and my ability to manage a specific portion or the entire span of a project have given me a multifaceted approach that provides valuable insight to help clients in their business decisions. My specialties include innovation, brainstorming, consumer research, sensory evaluation, human factors, and research for organizational effectiveness.

Although I manage much of my work in consumer research and human factors studies, I am currently focusing my skills on mock jury projects. I have mastered balancing set testing standards with my personable approach to reveal underlying reasoning from an array of participants, including healthcare professionals and patients. I optimize the opportunity for learning and improvement for clients by delving into key areas of concern.

I hold a B.S. and M.S. in Food Science with an emphasis in Sensory Evaluation from Pennsylvania State University. I am a trained Descriptive Panel Leader in both the Spectrum Method as well as QDA – Quantitative Descriptive Analysis – Tragon.
